Senior PL/SQL Developer

Summary

We are seeking a Senior software developer for contributing to the technical design and development of the target software architecture for our client.

As a member of a cross-functional agile feature team, tasks will consist of contributing to feature requirements, design and development of reusable components, defining best practices. This position is expected to develop highly maintainable and scalable software components and collaborate with test and vendor engineers to ensure the highest quality product possible.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the latest server side technologies and display an eagerness to decompose and solve difficult problems. As a team member, the candidate should take a proactive approach in communicating with team members and be willing to offer assistance or share knowledge with teammates when the need arises.

Responsibilities

With the architecture team, design an appropriate reusable components and capabilities.
Develop modular system with emphasis on readability and long-term sustainability of the source code.
Write unit tests using PL/SQL.
Document and maintain the target architecture framework features and capabilities.
Parametrize and configure developed system.
Prepare test campaigns with developing and business teams.

Qualications

2+ years of experience with PL/SQL and SQL programming. XML, XML Schema, Xpath knowledge.
Experience with one or more additional programming languages and technologies is a huge advantage: Java, Perl, Bash, GNU Make or other
Experience using version control system GIT.
Experience in developing applications in an agile environment is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work on own initiative or as a part of a team.
